Horace Tabor, one of Colorado's mining icons who eventually made his fortune in Leadville, owned a store with his first wife, Augusta, in Buckskin Joe, where Horace was also the postmaster. The original Park County courthouse from Buckskin Joe, built in , now sits in the South Park City museum (which we'll visit in a minute).
